• Branding is no modern tool

A few days ago, while visiting the very interesting National Museet in Copenhagen and being mesmerized by the Viking artifacts, I was surprised to discover a precise example of a clever branding that dated back to... year 982: the naming of Greenland!

For those not really into Viking history, when Viking Erik the Red discovered that new territory, he called it "Greenland" on purpose. Not because of the lush land, but because he thought a pleasant name would attract settlers in this yet unknown remote area! Centuries afterwards, with a population density of 0,03 hab./km2, we can wonder if business case can be ranked in the most successful ones; still, back then, Greenland reached a population of 5000 inhabitants!

So what's the oldest job in the world now?
